Encrypting Connection to the Web Interface (HTTPS)

The client and server establish a secure encrypted connection.
A padlock icon should appear in the status bar for Internet Explorer 5.x or
above, Netscape 6.2 or above, and Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.0 or above.
Configuring HTTPS
The
HTTPS Configure Page
allows network administrators to enable or
disable HTTPS and set the TCP port number for this service.
Monitor users have no access to this page.
To configure HTTPS settings:

Security > HTTPS Settings > Configure

HTTPS Status — Specifies if HTTPS is enabled on the device. The
possible predefined field values are:

Enabled
— HTTPS is enabled on the device. This is the default.
