Chapter 59 Maintenance Tools

ZyWALL / USG (ZLD) CLI Reference Guide

383

• IP address: any
• Host IP: any
• Host port: any (then you do not need to configure this setting)
• File suffix: Example
• File size: 10 megabytes
• Duration: 150 seconds
• Save the captured packets to: USB storage device
• Use the ring buffer: no
• The maximum size of a packet capture file: 100 megabytes

Exit the sub-command mode and have the ZyWALL / USG capture packets according to the settings
you just configured.

Manually stop the running packet capturing.

Check current packet capture status and list all stored packet captures.

You can use FTP to download a capture file. Open and study it using a packet analyzer tool (for
example, Ethereal or Wireshark).
