10.9.1 Wireless Network Overview
Wireless networks consist of wireless clients, access points and bridges.
• A wireless client is a radio connected to a user’s computer.
• An access point is a radio with a wired connection to a network, which can connect with numerous
wireless clients and let them access the network.
• A bridge is a radio that relays communications between access points and wireless clients, extending
a network’s range.

Select the BSS you want to configure.
Enable
Click on the check box to enable the BSS.
Network Name
(SSID)
Type a name for one of your BSS.
You can enable up to 4 simultaneous BSSs on your WX3310.
Broadcast SSID
Click on the check box if you want your SSID to be broadcasted to users in the area.
Encryption
Select the type of security to protect the information through the wireless network.
Pre-Shared Key
Type the password users need to connect to this BSS.
Apply
Click
Apply
to save your changes.
Cancel
Click
Cancel
to begin configuring this screen afresh.
