1
Introduction
1.1 Overview
The WX3310 is a wireless extender that can function as a repeater or an Access Point (AP).
Set your WX3310 as an
AP
if you want to bridge a wired network (LAN) and a wireless LAN (WLAN) in the
same subnet.
Set your WX3310 as a
Repeater
if you want to connect an existing wired network through another
access point and also lets wireless clients connect to the network through it.
It supports WiFi6 that is most suitable in areas with a high concentration of users. See
for more information on WiFi6.
It can also use both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks at the same time. See

information on dual-band WiFi.

1.2 Dual-Band WiFi
By default, the wireless LAN (WLAN) is enabled on the WX3310. IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax compliant
clients can wirelessly connect to the WX3310 to access network resources.
The WX3310 is a dual-band extender that can use both 2.4G and 5G networks at the same time.
You could use the 2.4 GHz band for regular Internet surfing and downloading while using the 5 GHz
band for time sensitive traffic like high-definition video, music, and gaming.
