Configuring an Interface (Cont’d)

For the router’s WAN interface, you can choose to use its
Factory Default MAC address, or to Clone a LAN Host’s MAC
Address from a specific host IP address or to statically Set the
WAN MAC Address.

•

This is mostly important for ISPs that check or cache a
previous device’s MAC for authentication.
