Operating the gears 

Your bike is equipped with trigger shifters that are actuated by pressing with your index finger or 
thumb. 

A T T E N T I O N

 

 

When changing gears, try not to change under load. Try to pedal in 
idle so that the chain is only slightly under tension. This procedure is 
necessary to protect your entire drive train, including the electric mo-
tor. These components are not designed for changing gear under 
load! 

 

 

Actuating the rear derailleur 

Proceed as follows to operate your rear derailleur with the right-hand shift levers:

Pedal forwards. 

-

 

Press the lower lever (2) forwards with your thumb to shift to a larger sprocket, i.e. to a 
lower gear. 

-

 

Pull the upper lever (1) towards you with your index finger to shift to a smaller sprocket.
