Assembling components of the bike
Your bike is pre-assembled on delivery. The following components still have to be fitted (or have
them fitted) and must be adjusted and/or checked (or have them adjusted/checked).

The handlebar has to be adjusted
-
The saddle position and height has to be adjusted
-
The pedals have to be screwed on
-
The fine adjustment of the gear shift mechanism has to be checked and adjusted, if neces-
sary
-
It is essential to check the function of the brakes
Installing and turning the handlebars
Proceed as follows to install the handlebars:

Loosen the adjusting screw

Loosen the stem clamping bolts
-
Turn the handlebars until they reach their end position
-
Tighten the adjusting screw finger-tight
-
Tighten the stem clamping bolts securely (tightening torque: 10 Nm)

Tighten the adjusting screw securely (tightening torque: min. 10 Nm)
Proceed as follows to adjust the horizontal position of the gear shift and brake levers:

Loosen all four handlebar clamping bolts

Turn the handlebars in the desired direction (see arrow in the figure above)
-
Tighten the four handlebar clamping bolts uniformly (tightening torque: 10 Nm)
