7.4 E1 Cables Installation
ZXR10 ZSR provides many kinds of channelized E1 cards, which use different interfaces
and cables.
7.4.1 120Ω Twisted Pair Installation
8/4 port channelized E1 interface card (RA-8CE1/RA-4CE1) provides a RJ48 socket and
can be connected with 120Ω balanced twisted pair cable. The two ends of the cable are
crimped with RJ48 plugs. The structure of RJ48 plug is the same with that of RJ45 plug.
If the socket of the peer device is also RJ48, use 1 and 4, 2 and 5 crossed E1 crossover
cable for connection. The connection relationship is shown in
Table 7-5
.
