If it is not allowed to power off the equipment, clean the power-on equipment with one
of the following methods whenever applicable:
l
Spray-wash the equipment first, and then wash it with a water gun.
This method is applicable when a lot of dust covers the equipment.
Operation procedure: Spray the cleaner on the equipment, wait until the cleaner
infiltrates the dirt to insulate the dirt particles and the floating dust deposits, and
then, wash the equipment with a water gun.

Clean the equipment from top to bottom.
This method is applicable when the equipment contamination is not serious.
l
Clean the equipment from bottom to top.
This method is applicable when the equipment contamination is serious.
It
prevents dirt accumulation on the equipment.
l
Collect the dirt between layers and at the bottom.
This method is applicable during the entire procedure of cleaning the power-on
equipment.
Operation procedure: Insert antistatic papers between each shelf and above the
cabinet bottom, clean the equipment layer by layer, and extract all the papers.
l
Clean narrow gaps.
This method is used to clean a board that has a 3-5 mm gap from other boards
or the equipment.
Operation procedure: Insert the extension pipe of a special spray gun or a
hand-held pressure sprayer into the gap, and spray-wash the board sides.
l
Clean boards without gaps.
This method is used to clean boards that do not have gaps from other boards or
the equipment.
Operation procedure: Insert the extension pipe of a special spray gun into the gap
between shelves, and spray-wash the board sides.
l
Clean the fan.
Operation procedure: Take out the Radio Fan Asset (
) board of the Indoor
Unit (
) rack, and clean the dirt, to ensure the fan to operate properly.

1.2.3 Maintaining the Equipment Room Environment
This procedure describes how to maintain the equipment room environment.
The equipment room environment includes all the conditions that influence the equipment
operation in the equipment room, such as temperature, humidity, and dust. Equipment
room environment maintenance protects the equipment from adverse environmental
factors.
