ZXMW NR8120A/8120D Maintenance Guide
l
If the antenna is aligned with the main lobe direction, go to the next step.
3.
Verify that the two ends of the link have consistent antenna polarization, and the ODU
and antenna have consistent polarization.
4.
Draw the cross section diagram in accordance with the map, and verify that there is
no obstacle. If there is any obstacle, modify the mounting height of the antenna or
change the route direction.
5.
Verify that the feeders and connectors do not have water leakage or are not moist. The
connectors include those between the antenna and combiner, between the combiner
and ODU, and between the ODU and feeder. If the receive level drops due to water
leakage, resolve the water leakage problem or replace the ODU.
6.
Verify that the antenna and ODU are in good condition.
l
Verify that the ODU power does not decrease. If the power is insufficient, replace
the ODU.
l
In areas with serious salt corrosion, verify that the equipment does not rust. If
the receive level drops due to antenna rust, use the antenna that provides salt
corrosion prevention.
2.2.2 Error Codes Are Generated on the Radio Link
Perform the following troubleshooting steps:
1.
Verify that the actual operating power and transmitting power of the ODUs at the two
ends of the radio link are normal.
In the LMT system, if the displayed operating frequency is consistent with the designed
value and the difference between the actual transmitting power and the designed value
does not exceed
±
2 dBm, the radio link is considered normal; otherwise, the radio link
is abnormal.
2.
Verify that the receive levels of the ODUs are normal. For operation details, refer to
1.3.1 Checking the Receive Level
3.
Verify that the MSE value is normal.
If the MSE value is normal, the error code problem is caused by interference.
4.
Verify that the IF cables connected to the ODUs are normal. For operation details,
refer to "
".
2.2.3 Radio Link Is Disconnected
Perform the following troubleshooting steps:
1.
Adjust the remote transmitting power within the allowed transmitting power range, and
verify that the local RSL is within the normal range.
2.
Verify that the ODU frequencies at the two ends of the radio link are matched.
3.
Verify that the bandwidths and modulation modes of ODUs at the two ends of the radio
link are consistent.
4.
Verify that the IF interface of the IDU has rated DC voltage. If the IF interface does
not have rated DC voltage, replace the IDU.
