15. FM radio
With the FM radio, you can search for radio channels, listen to
them, and save them on your phone. Note that the quality of
the radio broadcast depends on the coverage of the radio
station in your area. The wired headset that comes with your
phone works as an antenna, so always connect the headset
when using the radio. When you receive an incoming call while
listening to the radio, the radio will be temporarily turned off
and resume after the call is ended.
15.1 Scanning and saving channels
Plug in a wired headset and touch the Home key > > FM
Radio > > Auto Search , you phone scans for all available
channels and saves them to the All channels list.
NOTE:
All previously saved channels, except those you have added to
favourites, will be removed if you scan again. Touch
> Radio
List to view the All channels list.
15.2 Listening to FM radio
1. Touch in the Home Screen and select
FM Radio
while the headset is connected.
2. Touch
> Radio List
and select a channel.
You can also drag the red line along the frequency panel or
touch or to switch to other channels.
