1.3 System Components
Figure 1-1 shows the main components of the AutoPulse System.
The AutoPulse System consists of the following:

Platform
•
LifeBand
•
Power System
1.3.1 Platform
The Platform contains the mechanical drive mechanism, control system, and electronics necessary to
generate and control the force required to perform mechanical chest compressions. User controls and
indicators are contained in the User Control Panel.
Figure 1-2 shows the patient surface (front) and back surface details of the Platform. The Platform
features carry handles to facilitate transporting it to the scene of the arrest.
