BASIC OPERATION

Turn on / off the radio
• Press the selector knob once to switch on
the transceiver while it is power off.
• Press and hold it for 2 seconds to switch off
while standby.

Adjusting The Volume
While standby, rotate the selector knob till LCD
displays"SET VOLUME XX"
(XX shows for current volume level).
Turn selector knob to adjust volume,
clockwise-up, anticlockwise down.

Channel selection
Rotate selector knob to the desired channel,
turn clockwise to go through next channel or
anticlockwise to previous channel.
User can adjust channel through[UP/DOWN]key
on microphone.

Transmitting
Before transmitting, it is recommended to monitor
the channel you are using to ensure it is not busy
by pressing
SQ/M
key. Then, keep pressing [PTT] key
and start talking at approximately 2.5-5CM from
the Mic hole to get best timbre.
Press and hold [PTT], LED lights RED
indicating it is transmitting, release to receive.
