W A R N I N G
Hot surfaces and rotating machine parts while the engine is running can cause serious
injury or even death. Always stop the machine before carrying out troubleshooting
work and secure it against unintentional restarting.
If you are unable to carry out necessary repairs properly and/or do not have the required
qualifications, always contact a specialist to eliminate the problem

Engine will not start  Incorrect starting sequence  Observe the correct starting
sequence
 Dirty air filter  Clean/replace air filter
 ON-OFF-Switch and Fuel shut-off
valve in “OFF” position.
 ON-OFF-Switch and Fuel shut-off
valve must be in “ON” position.
 No fuel supply  Refuel
 Fault in the fuel line  Check the fuel line for kinks or
damages
 Choke lever is not in “CLOSE”
position
 Choke lever must be in “CLOSE”
position
 Engine flooded.  Screw off, clean and dry the spark
plug. Then pull the cranking rope
several times and reinstall the
spark plug
 Spark plug connector not placed on  Place on the spark plug connector
 No ignition spark  Clean/replace spark plug
 Check ignition cable
Engine starts and is stalled
immediately
 Incorrect idle adjustment  Contact customer service
 Fuel tap closed  Open fuel tap
Machine works with
interruptions
 Carburettor incorrectly adjusted  Contact customer service
 Spark plug fouled  Clean/replace spark plug
 Check spark plug connector
 Loose spark plug connector  Fix spark plug connector
 Machine running with choke lever in
“CLOSE” position
 Move choke lever in “OPEN”
position
 Blocked fuel line or stale fuel  Clean fuel line. Fill tank with clean,
fresh fuel.
 Water or dirt in fuel system  Drain fuel tank. Refill with fresh
fuel
 Dirty air cleaner  Clean or replace air cleaner
 Improper carburettor adjustment  Contact customer service
Machine does not work with
full performance
 Machine overloaded  Too much pressure
 soil too tough
 Dirty air filter  Clean/replace air filter
 Carburettor incorrectly adjusted  Contact customer service
Machine overheats  Machine oil level low  Fill crankcase with proper oil
 Dirty air cleaner  Clean air cleaner
 Air flow restricted  Remove housing and clean
 Carburetor not adjusted properly  Contact customer service
End of the chain is blocked  Foreign material between the chains
and Chassis
 Remove foreign body
Machine does not run while
the engine is running
 Gear is not engaged properly  Shift lever in right position switch
