13.3 Operation
13.3.1 Start the engine
Start the engine when you have assembled your mini dumper according to
instructions and it is filled with the necessary fuel and oil:
1. Set the gear selection lever to the neutral position.
2. Machine clutch lever released.
3. Move the choke lever to the CLOSED position.
If the motor is hot, closing the choke is not
necessary.
4. Turn ON-OFF-Switch to "ON" position.
5. Open the fuel shut-off valve.
6. Pull the recoil starter handle several times so that the
carburettor is filled with gasoline.
Pull-out the starter handle until resistance is felt. Let the
rope rewind slowly across and then move expeditiously.
Run the recoil starter handle slowly to the rope guide back
as soon as the engine starts.
7. Set the choke lever after a few seconds of engine run
position ˝OPEN˝.
