Before starting any cleaning and maintenance measures the device must
always be switched off at the main switch and the mains plug must be
disconnected.

Inspect the surface of the electrodes and the common electrodes regularly for
cracks and other damage. If the surface is damaged, the part must be
replaced.
Inspect the surface regularly for cracks and other damage. If a surface is
damaged or if the adhesion is inadequate, the electrode must be replaced.
Observe the application information on the packaging of the electrode.
Electrode cable
Regularly check the electrode cable of the handpiece and the common
electrode for integrity. If there is any damage, the cable must be replaced.
Electrodes
When changing an electrode, ensure that it is inserted into the handpiece as
far as it will go.
Plug connector
Regularly verify that the plug connector of the electrode cable is in proper
condition.
