7.4.
Compressed air lubricator maintenance
Compressed air lubricator has a possibility to change the pneumatic oil dispensing. The settings
should be periodically checked and adjusted as necessary. To adjust the amount of the dispensed
pneumatic oil:
Open the compressed air shut-off valve and start the machine,
Turn the screw with a screwdriver:
a)
counter-clockwise with a screwdriver - to increase dispensing,
b)
clockwise - to decrease dispensing;
Settings may be checked through a transparent window in the vault with the adjustment
screw.
To ensure the correct working conditions, the producer recommends to set
the dispensing for 1 drop/500 working cycles.
After some operation time, a water
-
oil emulsion is formed in the oil lubricator. In this case, change
the oil performing the following steps:
disconnect the compressed air supply,
remove, empty and clean the oil lubricator tank,
fill the tank with fresh oil up to
3
/
4
of its height,
tighten the oil tank, ensuring that the seal is in the correct position.
Check the oil level weekly and change it if necessary and adjust the amount of dispensed oil.
