3. Transport, installation and storage of Z-2312
3.1. Transport
Before transporting the device it’s necessary to disconnect compressed air supply, propellant
supply (if it is other than air) and electric power supply. Also, set height of working unit at the lowest
possible level (using height adjustment wheel on support stand). Machine is delivered assembled,
ready for start-up and in this way needs to be transported.
Transport of the machine must be performed in accordance with safety
regulations!
3.2. Installation
Installation of the device should be performed by authorized personnel. Mass of the device is
approximately 92 kg, which needs to be taken into account while choosing destination place. Device
should be placed on a firm table in a way allowing its operator to work in standing or sitting position,
regarding on the table height.
After preliminary placement of the device connect compressed air supply into the connection
located near air preparation unit and connect electric supply. Attention should be paid that
compressed air is not contaminated. Use air dryer to eliminate water from installation at the lowest
point of supply wires. Additionally, it is advised to use dedicated compressed air dryer placed in
installation behind compressor which powers the device. Process of atmospheric air compression
takes place in environment in which all contaminations concentrates, including water vapour. This
effect raises temperature of compressed air dew point in relation to atmospheric air and leads to it
condensation in compressor wires. Excess of water in compressed air, both in liquid and volatile
form, may cause various problems during compressed air usage. These problems include freezing
of external air wires, corrosion of equipment, and ultimately leads to production stop.
To reach standard operational conditions supply pressure in range of
0,8 ÷ 1,2 MPa (8 - 12 bar) is required.
NOTE: Power supply connection may be performed only by qualified
electricians (to 1 kV as a minimum).
