Replacement of the accumulator, accumulator life and operational reliability
A reliable emergency power supply by the accumulator is very important for the reliability of the alarm
system. To ensure this, it is imperative to replace the accumulator every 2 years.
When starting up the device in the system for the
fi
rst time, the life of 2 years must be started after
switching on the accumulator. This must be done by an appropriate
PIN Code 7071
in the Info menu.
After 2 years, the message
“
Replace accumulator
”
appears alternately with the standard display of the
supply air temperature.
Danger due to electric current
•
Do not remove the housing cover under voltage, observe the safety instructions!
•
Caution: Never short-circuit the connection terminals of the accumulator!
•
Only use accumulators approved by ZIEHL-ABEGG for this device!

Replace accumu.
Procedure
1. Loosen the housing cover and carefully turn aside to the RIGHT.
2. Unplug the ribbon cable from the display and place the housing cover to one side.
3. Unplug the accumulator connections (+ and -)
4. Remove the fastening screw and retaining bracket of the accumulator and remove the accumu-
lator.
5. Before remounting the housing cover, check that the accumulator and display plugs are sitting
fi
rmly!
The new accumulator is installed on reverse order.
