SAFETY INFORMATION
PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATIONS AND OPERATION GUIDELINES
The 2009 Zero S is a multi-purpose motorcycle designed to provide many years of trouble free commuting
and riding excellence. Please read the information below to get a sense for the motorcycles’ performance abilities
and limitations.
PERFORMANCE ENVELOPE
•
The Zero S has a top speed of 55 mph that allows for using freeways or highways for a few miles
when necessary.
• You can expect to achieve 40 miles of average range, under normal use (stop and go city traffic), with a
maximum range of 60 miles (steady riding at 25 mph). You can expect to achieve 30 miles of range on the
freeway (steady riding at 55 mph).
• The Zero S has the ability to start, from a standstill, up a steep 10% grade when fully loaded (300 lb total
pas baggage weight). It is not recommended that you stop on a grade of more than 10% with a fully
loaded motorcycle.
