WARNING!
Hazard due to laser radiation
If the VISULAS green is used in a different manner to that specified
in these instructions, this may result in dangerous radiation
exposure.

Use the controls and system settings only as described in the
user manual.

Follow the instructions in the user manual when carrying out
treatment.

Hazard due to laser radiation
Incorrect positioning of the laser beam may result in injury.

Never trigger the laser if the aiming beam is not clearly visible
in the target area.

Triggering the laser by unauthorized persons may result in injury.

Remove the key from the key switch after each use.
WARNING!

Incorrect application of the contact lens may result in injury due to
laser radiation.

Always hold the contact lens at right angles to the laser beam.

Incorrect positioning of the contact lens will cause
distortion of the laser focus. This can lead to unwanted side
effects.

Risk from optical radiation
If a 90 D contact lens (Volk lens) is used, there is a risk of injury
from optical radiation.

Do not use a 90 D contact lens (Volk lens) together with the
laser slit lamp.

Hazard due to laser radiation
If a contact lens unsuitable for retinal photocoagulation is used,
there is a risk of injury due to laser radiation.

Always use a suitable contact lens for retinal photocoagulation.
