Display Set Point Temperature
During normal operation, press the <SET> button to
display the Set point temperature.
Enter Set Point Temperature
Press the <SET> button: on the red display the current
value flashes and Set1 appears on the yellow display;
press the up/down buttons to change the current
value. Press SET again or wait 10 seconds to save the
new value.
Initiation of Defrost Mode Operation
a.
Initiate a Manual Defrost: Pressing the
Manual Defrost Key will start the defrost cycle
below 35°F. The defrost LED will go ON. The unit
will return to the cool mode automatically when
the defrost cycle is finished.
b.
Initiate an Automatic Defrost: If the
evaporator coil temperature is below 35°F, the
defrost timer will initiate a defrost cycle. The
defrost LED will go ON. The unit will return to the
cool mode automatically when the defrost is
finished.
Keypad locked/unlocked
Locking the keypad is achieved by simultaneously
pressing the <UP> or <DOWN> buttons for 5 seconds.
Once it is locked, if you try to use the in-cab controller,
the Pof message will be displayed. To unlock the
display, simultaneously press the <UP> and <DOWN>
buttons for 5 seconds, the Pon message will be
displayed and the keypad will be unlocked.
3.4 START UP
3.4.1 Starting
Operation in road mode
Check that the power LED on the display is on,
showing that the unit has power. Start the vehicle
engine and press the ON button for 3 seconds. The
operation and road icons light up. To stop the
refrigerating unit, press the on/off button or turn off
the vehicle.
Operation in stand-by mode
Check that supply voltage corresponds to the one shown
in the data plate (tolerance: +/-10% on nominal voltage),
then insert the plug. Press the ON button for 3 seconds:
the operation and standby icons light up; the red display
shows the cold room temperature and the yellow display
the set point. To stop the refrigerating unit, press the on/off
button.
Automatic operation
After starting the unit, it operates automatically, and it
stops any time the cold room temperature reaches the set
point; it resumes operation when temperature reaches a
value corresponding to set point + differential. According
to the model, the refrigerating unit can show different
operating modes which give rise to the activation of
different icons:
cold mode
heating mode
defrost mode
In addition to these icons the road
or standby icon
will also be activated.
NOTE:
The unit will NOT work on Electric Standby if the
vehicle engine is started and the power cord is plugged in,
alarm “ALM” will be displayed.
3.4.3 Weekly Pre-trip Inspection
The following Weekly Pre-trip Inspection should be
completed before loading the vehicle. While the weekly
inspection in not a substitute for regularly scheduled
maintenance inspections, it is important part of the
preventive maintenance program designed to prevent
operating problems before they happen.
LEAKS.
Inspect for refrigerant leaks and worn refrigerant
lines.
BELTS.
Inspect for cracks, wear and proper belt tension.
MOUNTING BOLTS.
Inspect mounting bolts are tightened
to proper torque specifications.
ELECTRICAL.
Electrical connections should be securely
