4.4 Propeller Supply System

Fuel Pump

Fuel pump usually does not require any maintenance, best practice is periodically check propeller system for leaks.

Replacement Procedure

Individual Protection Devices

Goggles

Gloves

Proper tools

(a)

Put drain pan under fuel pump.

(b)

Disconnect fuel pump plug.

(c)

Disconnect hoses from fuel pump and draining
fuel.

CAUTION!

Check conditions and eventually

replace hoses.

(d)

Remove Fuel Pump.

(e)

Install metal fittings on new pump, applying red
threadlocker.

(f)

Fix fuel pump in position.

(g)

Restore electrical and hoses connections.

CAUTION!

Renew

hoses

cutting

perpendicularly at 5cm from each end.
