Encoding SDI Video

Connect an SDI video source to “SDI In” of the RPS.

Return to the user interface.

If necessary, click on the “Stop” button in the “Channel Controls” section of the user interface CH1

tab or the “Stop All” button in the lower right corner of the screen of any tab.

At the CH1 tab, change the “Video Source” to “HD-SDI” using the dropdown menu. Though “HD-SDI”

is listed, this selection supports up to 3G-SDI resolutions.

Verify your remaining settings are as desired. See Section 10.0 for a detailed list of all options.

Click the “Start” button.

(1) Change to
“HD-SDI”

(2) Click “Start”
