Introduction  

Section 

1 

temperature sensor. All YSI 3200 series cells contain an internal temperature sensor; therefore, an 
external temperature probe is NOT necessary when using a 3200 series cell. However, if an 
external temperature probe is used with a YSI 3200 series cell, the external temperature probe 
will override the temperature sensor in the cell. 

YSI 3400 series cells do not contain an internal temperature sensor; therefore, an external 
temperature probe (YSI 3220 or YSI 700 series) is needed for temperature measurement or 
compensation. 

CE COMPLIANCE 

Use of an external temperature probe or the YSI Model 3232 cell adapter with this instrument 
may cause non-compliance with CE standards. See the Declaration of Conformity.
