Releases the call when the called party answers. Retrieves the call when the ringback tone
continues for 30 seconds.

SYS_5_0 determines whether 3-party Conference feature is used and how the EVM establishes a
3-party conference. If the PBX cannot disconnect the connection that an outside party has hung
up, or does not allow the internal phones to transfer incoming calls to any phone number outside
the PBX, using 3-party Conference feature is a solution.

SYS_5_2 determines how the EVM releases a call when the called party answers.

SYS_5_3 determines how the EVM releases a call before the called party answers.

ADM_5_9937 _[xbxx] determines the time length of a Conference timer.

ADM_5_9949 determines how the EVM retrieves a call of Outward Transfer.

Unless the 3-party Conference feature is used, the Transfer mode and Tone Detection mode to an
external phone number depend on where the phone number is stored.

Message Lamp Notification
If the PBX only uses a RS-232 port to accept the commands of turning message lamps on or off
(MLON / MLOFF), you should install an EVM-8X system and define the
Primal Byte String of
ML Control Commands . EVM-2X systems are not equipped any RS-232 port.
If the PBX can use extension ports to accept the commands, you may specify the Operating-ways
for sending the DTMF digits of ML Control Commands.

SYS_5_7 is used to specify how the EVM sends out MLON Control Commands through the
specified Line ports.

SYS_5_8 is used to specify how the EVM sends out MLOFF Control Commands through the
specified Line ports.

ADM_5_9991 _[abxx] determines whether to send out MLON Control Commands only for the
first new message of each mailbox, and specifies the Line port(s) with which the PBX can accept
the ML Control Commands.
Pager Notification
To call a pager for message notification, EVM will take the following actions:
