The Line number of the L1 port is “70” and the EXTN Field width is three-byte.
ADM_5_9803_(0D0A) and ADM_5_9804_(02):
Each string begins with “STX (02)” and ends with “CR (0D)” and “LF (0A)”.
ADM_5_9816_[09], ADM_5_9817_[0214], ADM_5_9811_(3931):
Enables the EVM to detect a phone number and Line number by decoding data from the 9

byte of a character string whose Type code is "91 (3931)" beginning with the

byte. The caller of a call accompanying such a string will receives the No-answer
Phone Service.

byte of a character string whose Type code is "98 (3938)" beginning with the

byte. A call accompanying such a string will be recorded and deposited into the
mailbox the phone number indicates.
Primal Byte String of ML Control Commands
To enable the EVM to send out the ML Control Command Character strings through the COM port,
you need to define the primal byte string, which includes:
- The CONT field where the MLON Code or the MLOFF Code will automatically fill in,
- The EXTN field where the phone number will automatically fill in,
and specify:
- The Hex value of the MLON Code, which is the data in the CONT field of a character string of
turning a message lamp on.
- The Hex value of the MLOFF Code, which is the data in the CONT field of a character string
of turning a message lamp off.
- The value of a meaningless byte: in an outgoing Character string, this value is the value of each
byte that is generated by a function code (A2~A8) and is the value of each of the rest of the
bytes if the phone number is shorter than the specified EXTN field width.

ADM_5_9840 and ADM_5_9841 are used to specify the MLON Code.

ADM_5_9842 and ADM_5_9843 are used to specify the MLOFF Code.

ADM_5_9844 ~ ADM_5_9853 are used to program the primal byte string.

ADM_5_9854 determines the value of a meaningless byte.
