Announcements Administration
To administer announcements, you will use the Announcement Administration menu (
Administrable announcements are information announcements and the prompts/greetings that are
identified by the paragraph codes as shown in table 4-1.
The paragraph codes indicate the purposes of the recorded messages. Up to four messages can be
recorded for the same purpose by using the recording language options. The language options also
determine which message is played when the purpose of a message occurs.
Table 4-1 also shows the words of the built-in messages of the system. An EVM system of English
version includes only the built-in messages recorded in English, which is called 1
st
language in this
document. The built-in message of a paragraph code is the default message of all the four
languages of that paragraph code.

Main Greeting of AA Service on Working Hours
“Hello, please dial extension number or wait for the operator service.”
Messages are for answering incoming calls during the working hours.

Main Greeting of AA Service on Break Hours
“It is break hour now. Please dial extension number.”
Messages are for answering incoming calls during the break hours.

Main Greeting of AA Service on Closed Hours
“It is closing hour now. Please dial extension number, or wait for operator service.”
Messages are for answering incoming calls during the closed hours.

Main Greeting of AA Service on Holidays
“It is Closing hour now. Please dial extension number.”
Messages are for answering incoming calls during the holidays and weekends.

On-hold Prompt
a. “Please wait a moment!”
b. “Please wait a moment for operator service.”
Messages are for telling callers that the system starts to transfer their calls.

General No-answer Message (Working Hours)
a. “Sorry, the call is unanswered, please dial * sign to hold, or wait for operator service.
b. “Sorry, the call is unanswered, please dial * sign to hold, or dial another extension
number.
Messages are for telling callers that the called party is “Ring No Answer”, during the
working hours.
