Intermediate Sections

bolt intermediate sides to bottom
If the conveyor was not assembled when it
came, start intermediate section assembly
by bolting the intermediate sides to the
intermediate bottom. Use 3/8” x 1” bin bolts
and flange nuts. When doing so, make certain
the bottom has the correct offset (see below)
from the sides. This offset is made up at the
conveyor head and tail ends. Before tightening
the sides to the bottom make certain the sides
are square and parallel to each other. Leave
out the end bolts and use a drift pin so the rows
of bottom holes will align. Torque the nuts at
44 ft-lb [59.66 N•m or 6.08 kgf-m].
