1 Make sure the probe tip and the
forehead cap is clean and there is
no obstruction prior to taking a
temperature
2 Make sure there is no air flux as
this could interfere with the infrared
system.
3 Make sure the measuring
distance is not too far during
forehead measure mode
measurement, distance should be
within 1.0cm to 3.0cm.
4 Ensure that the ear canal is clean
and the probe tip and ear canal are
closely matched when measuring
ear temperature.
