(3) Memory Board Assembly
The Memory Board Assembly contains two channels memories for acquisition. There
are three kinds of assembly according to the model of the record length.
• Model 7008_1 (500 kW/CH model): MEM 512k Board Assembly
• Model 7008_2 (2MW/CH model): MEM 2M Board Assembly
• Model 7008_3 (8MW/CH model): MEM 8M Board Assembly
(4) Logic I/F Board Assembly (option)
The Logic I/F Board Assembly takes a interface with the Logic Probes (Model 700985).
This board supplies the power source (+5V, -5.2V, -12V) for the Logic probes. It also
includes the circuit for the logic trigger (Parallel Pattern Trigger).
(5) 960 CPU Board Assembly
The 960 CPU Board Assembly incorporates the CPU (80960KB) and the main memo-
ries. The 960CPU mainly implements the input section control, the measurement of
waveform parameters, the calculation and the display processing. There are two types
of the assembly which are distinguished by the 1MW computational expansion option.
• 960 CPU 8M Board Assembly: without the 1MW computational expansion
• 960 CPU 16M Board Assembly: with the 1MW computational expansion
(6) 68k CPU Board Assembly
The 68k CPU Board Assembly consist of the CPU (TMP68303), the Flash memories,
the Back-up memories, the GP-IB controller, the SCSI controller, the FDD controller,
the Key-board controller etc. The 68k CPU mainly implements the User interface
control and the communication control.
(7) Video Board Assembly
The memories for display, the CRT controller, the color pallet LSI built-in D/A con-
verter are incorporated. The board generates the display data for the TFT color LCD
and the VGA video output, and the synchronous signals.
(8) Printer Board Assembly (option)
The Printer interface circuit is incorporated.
(9) Mother Board Assembly
(10) Key Board Assembly
The key switches, LEDs, the Rotary encoders and the Jog Shuttle are installed on the
Key Board Assembly.
(11) LCD Board Assembly
The LCD Board Assembly converts the connectors of the LCD signals.
(12) SCSI Termination Board Assembly
The terminator of SCSI and a fuse are installed. This assembly is not necessary for MO
drive option.
