Connection Procedure

Connect a UTP (Unshielded Twisted-Pair) cable or an STP (Shielded Twisted-Pair) cable 
that is connected to a hub, for example, to the 100BASE-TX port.

Precautions to Be Taken When Connecting the Cable

•  Be sure to use a straight cable via a hub for the connection between the AQ7277 and 

the PC.

•  When using a UTP cable (straight cable), use a cable of category 5.

Note

Set the TCP/IP address using the remote controller for the AQ7277 Remote OTDR. For the 

procedure, see the user's manual for the remote controller for the AQ7277 Remote OTDR.
