How To Choose Pulsed MIG
In Pulse MIG mode there is no manual voltage adjustment; instead, voltage is synergi cally aligned with the proper wire feed speed.
Arc length can be adjusted from -3~3V. Arc Length adjustment is used to adjust actual arc length which automatically adjusts the
voltage from -3V to +3V. Adjusting the Arc Length will vary the length of the welding arc cone. See weld chart in front compartment
for proper wire feed speed adjustment according to wire size and type.
1. Select the MIG/Pulse MIG function with the MIG/Pulsed MIG/Lift TIG/Stick selector switch.
2. Press menu and choose Double Pulse.
a. On, Double Pulse MIG welding is on, able to adjust pulse spec: BS (Base current), FRQ (frequency) and Duy (duty cycle)
b. Off, Single Pulsed MIG welding is on, default pulse spec, not able to adjust.
3. Set the welding parameters.
4. Adjust the value adjustment knob (1) to change the output amperage, the wire feeding speed will automatically changed.
5. Details for Setting for Pulsed/Double Pulsed MIG Adjust the Voltage/Function knob (2) to mico-adjust the arc length.
