Configuring Call Preferences

SIP IP call parameters on the system are described below:

Enabled.

Note:

When it is set to Enabled on

both sites, the VC800/VC500 can call
the far site by dialing an IP address
directly.

UDP

—provides best-effort

transport via UDP for SIP
signaling.



TCP

—provides reliable

transport via TCP for SIP
signaling.



DNS-NAPTR

—performs the

DNS NAPTR and SRV queries
for the service type and port if
no server port is given.
