When connected to an external DAS, Yaskawa Solectria Solar PVI 25TL-480-R inverters support up to 32 
inverters/devices on the RS-485 daisy chain. The Inverter Modbus IDs are configurable from 1 to 128.  

 

Yaskawa Solectria Solar recommends limiting the RS-485 daisy chain to a maximum length of 3000 ft. (914m).  

 

Care must be taken when daisy chaining the inverters, utilizing a shielded twisted pair cable such as Belden 9841 
or Southwire 58165802.
