10.2 Inspection and Maintenance

10.2.1 Servomotor Inspection

The AC servomotors are brushless. Simple, daily inspection is sufficient. The inspection and maintenance fre-
quencies in Table 10.6 are only guidelines. Increase or decrease the frequency to suit the operating conditions and
environment.

During inspection and maintenance, do not disassemble the servomotor. If disassembly of the servomotor is
required, contact your Yaskawa representative.

* Measure across the servomotor FG and the phase-U, phase-V, or phase-W power line.

10.2.2 SERVOPACK Inspection

For inspection and maintenance of the SERVOPACK, follow the inspection procedures in Table 10.7 at least
once every year. Other routine inspections are not required.
