5.6 Pressure of presser foot

5.5 Adjusting thread tension

Adjust  the  thread  tension  with  the  thread  tension  spring 

caps ① depending on fabric type, thread type, seam width, 

stitch length, and other sewing conditions.

●  To tighten the thread tension, turn them clockwise.

●  To loosen the thread tension, turn them counterclockwise.

Loosen  the  lock  nut ②  and  adjust  the  pressure  of  the 

presser foot by turning the adjusting screw ③ .   

●  To increase the pressure, turn it clockwise.

●  To decrease the pressure, turn it counterclockwise.

Keep  the  pressure  as  low  as  possible  for  stable  sewing 

performance.
