1-3. Available functions
A digital body composition monitor, DF870 has the following functions.
Purpose Method
[Body composition measuring
function]
To measure your body fat percentage
and muscle mass.
If you make the measurement in Body Composition mode, you
can check your body fat percentage and muscle mass as well
as your weight.
[Measured results printing function]
To print out measured results
If you enable the printer setting, you can print out the weights
measured in Weight mode and the body compositions
measured in Body Composition mode.
[Measured results communication
function]
To send measured results to a
personal computer
If you enable USB or Bluetooth™ (option), you can send the
data to a personal computer (in Body Composition mode only).
[QR code generator function]
To conduct health control on a
smartphone
If you scan a QR code generated by a dedicated application,
you can import the data into a smartphone (in Body
Composition mode only).
[Preset tare function]
To subtract the weight of the clothes in
advance
If you press numeric keys when zero weight is indicated on the
LCD, the Tare setting screen appears, where you can set the
weight of the clothes in advance to subtract the weight.
[Transactions or certifications]
To write a measured weight in the
patient chart
If you are using the DF870 designed for transactions or
certifications, you can write the weight measured in Weight
mode, in the patient chart.
[One-touch tare function]
To measure the weight of a baby while
holding the baby
If an adult alone stands on the platform first and press Tare
key, the system subtracts the adult’s weight and measures only
the weight of a baby who is held by the person (* in Weight
mode only).
[Indication hold function]
To keep the weight indicated on the
LCD
If you enable the indication hold function, you can keep the
indicated weight value until you step down from the platform of
the DF870 (* in Weight mode only).
