5-3. How to install the USB driver



Install the USB driver for the converter.

On a personal computer, open

DF870 operation manual.pdf

posted on our website. Then download the

file from the following URL. Note that while the USB driver is installed, do not connect the personal
computer to the DF870 via a USB cable.

Open the file.

When the download is complete, Internet Explorer starts up.
Click

Open the file (O)



Extract the installer.

When you click

Open the file (O)

, the following installers (exe) appear. For 32bit PCs, double-click

CP210xVCP installer_x86.exe

. For 64bit PCs, double-click

CP210xVCPinstaller_x64.exe

.

To confirm whether your PC is a 32bit or 64bit system, open

Extract all (X)

and specify a destination folder to open the file.
