FRONT FORK

6. Inspect:

Inner tube operation
Unsmooth operation

Disassembly and

recheck.

7. Fill:

Fork oil

Oil quantity:

88 cc

Recommended oil:

Fork oil 10 W or equivalent

8. After filling up, slowly pump the fork up

and down to distribute the fork oil.

9. Install:

Front fork spring

NOTE:

Install the fork spring with its smaller pitch

upward .

Before installing the cap bolt, apply grease
to the O-ring.

Temporarily tighten the cap bolt.

Reverse the “REMOVAL” procedure.
Note the following points.

1. Install:

Front fork

NOTE:

Apply grease onto cap bolt O-ring before in-
stalling cap bolt.

2. Tighten:

Cap bolts

38Nm(3.8 m.kg, 27 ft.lb)

Pinch bolts

40Nm(4.0 m.kg, 29 ft.lb)
