DYNAMIC RANGE (Dynamic range)
Use to select the amount of dynamic range compression to
be applied to the speakers. This setting is effective only
when the unit is decoding Dolby Digital or DTS signals.
Dynamic range is the difference between the smallest
sound that can be heard above the noise of the equipment
and the biggest sound that can be heard without distortion.
Choices: MIN (minimum), STD (standard),
MAX
(maximum)
Select to adjust the speaker compression.
• Select MIN for listening to sources at low volume
levels.
• Select STD for general use.
• Select MAX for feature films.

AUDIO SET (Audio set)
Use to customize this units overall audio settings.
MUTE LEVEL (Muting level)
Use to adjust how much the mute function reduces the
output volume.
Choices:
MUTE
, –20 dB
• Select MUTE to completely halt all output of sound.
• Select –20 dB to reduce the current volume by 20 dB.
AUDIO DELAY (Audio delay)
Use to delay the sound output and synchronize it with the
video image. This may be necessary when using certain
LCD monitors or projectors.
Choices:

to 160 ms

TONE CONTROL (Tone control)
You can adjust the tonal quality of your speakers.
TREBLE (Treble)
Use to adjust the high frequency response.
Choices: –12 dB to +12 dB
Initial setting: 0 dB
BASS (Bass)
Use to adjust the low frequency response.
Choices: –12 dB to +12 dB
Initial setting: 0 dB
