Crankshaft bearing
1. Remove:

• Bearing 

1

NOTE:

• Remove the bearing from the crankcase by

pressing its inner race as shown in 

A

.

• If the bearing is removed together with the

crankshaft, remove the bearing using a gen-
eral bearing puller

as shown in 

B

.

• Do not use the removed bearing.

NOTE:

It is not necessary to disassembly the water
pump, unless there is no abnormality such as
excessive change in coolant level, discol-
oration of coolant, or milky transmission oil.
