Straighten the claw washer tabs

, and

then remove the ring nut and claw
washer.

Pull out the propeller shaft housing
assembly.

Disassembling the propeller shaft
housing

Remove the reverse gear and thrust
washer.

NOTE:

Install the bearing separator

between the

reverse gear and thrust washer completely.
