Checks D/A converter noise level.
Play a note to check that there is no noise during the PIANO 1 release time.
(The damper pedal should be ON.)
Check the switches and the LEDs on the panel.
Press the switch that is displayed on the LCD. A pre-assigned note is output
when the switch is pressed. (With some switches, the corresponding LED
will light up.) Also check the dial by turning it; the LCD should display “OK”.
The LCD will display the numbers from 50 – 100 when turning the dial
clockwise from the center and from 50 – 0 when turning the dial counter-
clockwise from the center.
Check that all panel LEDs are lit.
Check that all red panel LEDs are lit.
Check that all green panel LEDs are lit.
Check that all keyboard guide LEDs are lit.
Check that all red keyboard LEDs are lit.
Check that all green keyboard LEDs are lit.
Check that all LCD dots are ON. The LCD becomes blue.
Check that all LCD dots are OFF. The LCD becomes white.
Check that the C3 note sounds when pushing the pedal and that the C4
sounds when releasing the pedal; the LCD should display “OK”.
Check that the C3 note sounds when pushing the pedal and that the C4
sounds when releasing the pedal; the LCD should display “OK”.
Check that the C3 note sounds when pushing the pedal and that the C4
sounds when releasing the pedal; the LCD should display “OK”.
After connecting the MIDI IN and MIDI OUT, execute the test. The test
result will appear on the LCD.
Connect pin 3 to pin 5 and pin 6 to pin 8 of the TO HOST terminal, and
execute the test.
Check that the following notes sound when changing the HOST SELECT
switch position according to the LCD indication; the LCD should display “OK”.
Mac position: note C5; PC1 position: note C4; PC2 position: note C3
Checks the Program ROM and Data ROM
Checks all RAMs that are connected to CPU
Checks the Wave ROM
For factory test use only
All RAMs are initialized and reset to the factory preset data when executing
this test.
Exit from the test program when executing this test.
