The above settings are common for VFO scan, memory scan and programmable memory
scan (PMS).
Skip Memory Channels
Each memory channel can be set to be skipped during memory scan.
1. Press and hold the
key.
The memory channel list appears.
The memory channel list can also be displayed by the following operations:

2. Rotate the

knob to select the memory channel number that you do not want to
scan, and press the

When the memory channel set as the skip memory is called, the “ ” icon is dis-
played.
To cancel the skip memory, set it to “YES” in step 5 above.
Programmable Memory scan (PMS)
This function scans only the range of frequencies between the lower and upper limits
registered in a pair of PMS Programmable Memory channels. 50 sets of PMS memory
channels (L01/U01 to L50/U50) are available.
