TROUBLESHOOTING
- Replace with new batteries.
- Operate with the tip removed. If it operates, replace the tip.
- Operate with the reservoir removed. If it operates, perform cleaning
of the water intake port (on the end of the white water intake hose).
- Screw a metal screw into the end of the broken tip.
- Hit eject button and remove screw. Tip will come out with the screw.
- If there is visible cracking of the reservoir, replace the reservoir.
Contact the YA-MAN Call Center (P.16).
- Try a different tip to see if problem still occurs
- If you used additives like mouthwash or peroxide, you will want to flush
water in the hole where tip is inserted.
- Perform cleaning.

Typically occurs when unit goes into “lock out mode”. Lock out mode can
happen when:
- AA batteries have not been inserted or are dead.
- the tip on the unit is clogged
- the temp gets lower than 30-40 degrees F
- The water intake port (on the end of the white water intake hose)
inside the main unit is clogged. The device was dropped or was left
unused for long period of time.
The tip is clogged, water intake port (on the end of the white water
intake hose) is clogged, an additive was used, cleaning was insufficient
or preparation for use was insufficient.
The product was dropped.
The tip is clogged, the reservoir drain port is clogged, an additive was
used, cleaning was insufficient or preparation for use was insufficient.
Most commonly caused by build-up, defective tip, or defective unit.
