Warranty information
A warranty for 1 year from the date of purchase is provided and covers problems that occur during ordinary use. (It does not cover consumable supplies or accessories.)
- After the warranty period expires, product shipping expenses will be borne by the customer.
- In the case of problems occurring after the warranty period expires, the customer will be charged for the cost (actual expense) of repairs.
- There are cases when a charge for repairs will be incurred even during the warranty period. Please read the explanation of the warranty terms carefully.
- In the event of a problem with the product, contact the retailer or the YA-MAN Call Center (P.16).
Warranty Terms
1. Problems which occur under conditions of normal use as prescribed in the instruction manual,
labels attached to the product, and other precautions shall be repaired at no charge by the
retailer where the product was purchased.
2. To receive free repairs of a problem that occurred during the warranty period, present the
product and this warranty certificate, and request repairs by the retailer where the product was
purchased.
3. If your address will be changed, please consult in advance with the retailer where the product
was purchased.
4. If the product was a gift and it is not possible to request repairs by the retailer where the product
was purchased listed in this certificate, please contact the YA-MAN Call Center.
5. Even during the warranty period, a charge shall be required for repairs in the following
circumstances.
(a) The problem or damage is the result of incorrect use or unauthorized repair or modification.
(b) The problem or damage is the result of the product tipping over or falling after it was
purchased.
* This certificate is a pledge to provide free repairs based on the warranty period and terms printed on it. Therefore this warranty certificate does not limit the rights of the customer under the law. If you
have any questions regarding repairs after the end of the warranty period or other matters, please contact the retailer where the product was purchased.
* A charge will be incurred for repairs in cases of deterioration or consumption resulting from use, or for replacement of consumable supplies.
(c) The problem or damage is the result of fire, earthquake, flood or other disaster,
pollution or abnormal voltage.
(d) The problem or damage is the result of an abnormality in another connected device.
(e) Parts such as batteries, consumable supplies or accessories require replacement.
(f) The problem or damage occurred when the product was used in a location not an
ordinary household (for example, prolonged use for commercial purposes).
(g) The problem or damage occurred when the product was mounted on a vehicle, ship or
similar location.
(h) The problem or damage is the result of product transport, relocation, falling or similar
cause after it was purchased.
(i) The warranty certificate was not presented.
(j) The date of purchase or the retailer name or stamp is not present in the warranty
certificate, or the contents of the warranty certificate were modified.
6. This warranty is valid only within Japan.
