Download Menu
Note
Any macro set previously programmed is overwritten when you select
Download.
Download sends the set of keypad macros to the keyboard controller. The macro set must
reside in memory before it can be downloaded. A checksum is calculated during transmis-
sion and an error message displays if an error occurs.
As the macro is sent, keyboard controller programs its EEPROM with the new macros
which become the new key definitions for the keypad.

When Utilities is selected, a menu bar displays four choices:
Func Lock ON, Func
Lock OFF, Clear EEPROM,
and

.
Func Lock ON
Not available on the 9460KP/9462KP.
Func Lock OFF

feature, the unit should be turned off and then on. This will initialize the EEPROM with
the default settings.
