•
Turn on the oxygen supply and adjust oxygen flow such that required saturation is
reached (please check the user manual of the oxygenator for maximal flow).
•
Cannulate aortic stump (24 Fr, straight) and portal vein (24 Fr, bend).
•
Open the sterile drape to create a sterile area.
•
Place liver in reservoir.
•
De-air and connect cannulas to corresponding inlet tubing.
•
Start arterial and portal perfusion.
•
Close reservoir with inner and outer lid.

When using small cannulas (<24Fr), be aware of the pressure drop. See figure
below for correction.
