SDI

SDI (Serial Digital Interface) Digital video interface is a digital serial interface signals. Scrambling code non return to

zero inverted (NRZI) instead of the earlier block code, the standard for SMPTE-259M and EBU-Tech-3267, including digital

composite, digital audio, and digital component signals. In front of the transmission, scrambling from the raw data stream,

transforms NRZI coding and ensure reliable recovery of raw data at the receiving end. Digital serial interface can be

conceptually understood as a baseband signal modulation.

Cable & BNC

Coaxial cable connectors, composite video or audio in the signal transmission of the lamp, commonly used for 75 Ohm

connector. Welding of the BNC should pay particular attention to the welding strength and deburring, or signal line shield

contacts can cause significant attenuation of signal strength.



Note: the connection cable use the dedicated transmission coaxial cable with BNC connectors, cable harness standard

model: ND5C-2V 750hm (75-5).

Hard Disk Capacity Computation

Initial setup of DVR, make sure the hard drive is mounted in the machine. Size recorders for a single hard disk capacity

of the hard drive itself is no limit, according to video timing requirements, please make a selection. Total size of selected

hard disk capacity is calculated as:

Total hard disk capacity (MB) = channel x needs (hours) x per hour takes up space on your hard disk (MB/hour)



Note: buy hard disk capacity on the market, 1GB = 1000MB, rather than a theoretical 1GB=1024MB. In [HDD Manager]

->[Basic Configuration] Displays the nominal value is less than the actual hard drive capacity. With constant bit rate

encoding is when DVR mode, the file size values in the following table are generated every hour.

When the DVR using variable bit-rate encoding mode, generated file sizes vary per hour, refer to actually generate the video

file size.
